I have noticed that I can no longer use the Apple keyboard shortcuts to get special characters like the 'degree' symbol and the 'cents' sign. For years the 'degree' combo has been shift+alt+8 and the 'cents' was shift+alt+4. Also, quote marks and code marks (inches/feet/seconds/minutes) are different depending on the program.
